Intergraph to Join Quantum Research in Providing Critical Assistance to Space and Missile Defense Agencies

Intergraph has formed a strategic partnership with Quantum Research International, Inc. to provide engineering, software, and services expertise for several U.S. military agencies – including the Concepts and Operations for Space and Missile Defense Integration Capabilities program, also known as COSMIC, the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (SMDC), and other U.S. space and missile defense agencies. The 10-year effort, valued at more than $449 million, will provide Army warfighters with next-generation command-and-control systems and integrated data environments for battle control and homeland security. Warner Robins AFB Pushing New Effort to Boost Reliability of C-5s

Warner Robins AFB is working diligently to improve the mission-capable rates of their C-5 fleet – many of which date from the 1960s and 1980s – by substituting their current “fly to fail” approach with a predictive, pre-emptive system. Following a Maintenance Steering Group-3 (MSG-3) approach, an effort which Intergraph is currently supporting at the base, Warner Robins expects this program to result in tremendous cost savings or cost avoidance through the next several decades.
