Intergraph Partners with PowerLine Technology, Inc
Expands Solutions for Utility Companies
Intergraph announced a distributor partnership with PowerLine Technology, Inc., a leading provider of engineering software for utility organizations. Under the terms of the agreement, G/Technology, Intergraph's integrated geofacilities management system, will be augmented with PowerLine's leading pole analysis software employed by utilities to design and build overhead power lines in compliance with the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC).
The integration of PowerLine's software, PoleForeman and SagLine, into G/Technology creates a comprehensive solution for the electric and telecommunications industries. This solution delivers unprecedented ease for complying with the latest government regulations, as well as more consistent and accurate engineering calculations from field personnel, which are essential to ensure public safety and service reliability.

PECO Restores Outages with InService
PECO is an electric and gas utility serving southeastern Pennsylvania, including Philadelphia and the four counties surrounding the city. It provides electricity to 1.6 million customers, and supplies gas to
474,000 locations.
The worst summer outage event in PECO history occurred on the evening of Tuesday, July 18, 2006, a storm rolled through southeastern Pennsylvania , knocking out power for over 400,000 PECO customers. The most outages PECO customers ever suffered occurred as a result of an ice storm in January 1994, which cut power to 550,000 PECO customers. Learn more
InService 8.0.2 release plans for Q1 2007 
Work is underway for the InService 8.0.2 release expected in February 2007. This release of InService can be operated in a Citrix environment and provides enhancements such as Outlook-based calendar scheduling and viewing; a switching simulator; and improvements to schematics generation. The mobile environment incorporates Intergraph's oneMobile functionality, allowing integration of query and redlining capabilities and stronger customization tools, extending field applications available.
In addition, organizations can enhance their critical infrastructure protection through modules providing two way communication with video, sensor, and alarm surveillance integrated with InService.

G/Gas-based System Enhances Enterprise Data Access, Streamlines Workflows

G/Technology: Release plans for Q1 2007
G/Technology 9.3.3 was officially announced in August 2006. Work is underway for version 9.4 expected to release in Q1 2007.
Core enhancements include .Net customization capabilities, automatic legend generation for plotting, scale independent symbolism, and the ability to save directly into .DGN files. More improvements to redlining in the web and mobile viewers are also in the new release. Stay tuned to the website for more information.
